Watermelon, fortunately, is one of the fruits you can and should consume! Watermelon actually is a versatile and very healthful fruit. Watermelon is healthy, nutritious, refreshing and energizing too.


Many reasons why you should take watermelon in pregnancy.


  • Watermelon is a good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, magnesium and potassium.


  • Watermelon eases heartburn and reduces swelling; its high water content and fruit sugars helps combats dehydration; All pregnant women are advised to drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Dehydration can cause premature contractions and lead to a premature birth.
